Mortad, July 23 (Gatla News): Under the leadership of BJP Mandal President Shivanand Reddy, an effigy of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was burned in Mortad Mandal headquarters. This protest was held to strongly condemn the stance taken by Rahul Gandhi during his recent demonstration outside the Prime Minister’s residence. Speaking on the occasion, President Shivanand Reddy alleged that “anti-national” parties—specifically the Congress, Trinamool Congress, and AAP—conspired to incite unrest across Delhi. He claimed that, in an attempt to tarnish the BJP’s image regarding the NEET exam paper leak, they staged a “sham drama” at Jantar Mantar; instead of genuine students, they gathered Rohingyas and anti-nationals, falsely presenting them as protesting students to malign the BJP and Narendra Modi and to diminish India’s global reputation. Reddy stated that this conspiracy was thwarted by identifying the participants not as students but as anti-nationals and teaching them a fitting lesson. Consequently, the effigy of Rahul Gandhi—whom he labeled an “anti-national”—was burned, and a *rasta roko* (road blockade) protest was conducted. Mandal President Shivanand Reddy, former Mandal President Puppala Naresh, District Secretary Sangam Anil, Kisan Morcha District Vice-President Gaddam Srinivas, Kisan Morcha President Jaidi Gangareddy, Vice-Presidents Koram Prakash, Narsayya, and Santhosh, along with Chinnareddy Mohan, Ashok, Bhoga Devender, Ramesh Reddy, Gangaram, and leaders and activists from every village, participated in this program.
