– Two saplings should be planted and nurtured at every home for the sake of future generations

Kammarpally, July 23 (Gatla News): Marking the occasion of ‘Vana Mahotsav’ (Forest Festival), saplings were planted on the premises of the Zilla Parishad High School in Hasakothur village, Kammarpally Mandal, under the leadership of Village Sarpanch Nalimela Revathi Gangareddy. Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Nalimela Revathi Gangareddy noted that rainfall is not reaching expected levels due to the current impact of El Niño. She expressed concern that if this situation persists, future generations could face severe hardships. Emphasizing that environmental protection is everyone’s responsibility, she urged villagers—especially the youth—to plant at least two saplings at every home and strive to nurture and grow them. Participants in the program included Deputy Sarpanch Enugu Manohar, Panchayat Secretary Nallaganti Narsaiah, Zilla Parishad High School Headmistress Arunashree, Teacher Krishnakumar, Field Assistant Harish, Mahender, Chinna Goud, Dasha Goud, Sunil Goud, Kishan Goud, Lakshman Goud, and others.
