Kamareddy, July 9 (Gatla News): A special event was held on Thursday at the Kamareddy District Congress Party office to mark the occasion of the Telangana government directly depositing financial assistance—under the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ scheme and for crop investment—into farmers’ bank accounts. In the presence of Kamareddy District Congress Committee (DCC) President Yele Mallikarjun, a ‘Milk Abhishekam’ (ritual bathing with milk) was performed for the portraits of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud. Participants lauded the pro-people decisions taken by the Congress government for the welfare of farmers. Speaking on the occasion, DCC President Yele Mallikarjun stated that the transparent deposit of ‘Rythu Bharosa’ and crop investment funds into farmers’ accounts—fulfilling promises made to them—stands as a testament to the Congress government’s pro-farmer stance. He emphasized that the upliftment of farmers is the government’s primary objective and assured that the government would continue to accord top priority to farmer welfare in the future. DCC executive members, Mandal Congress Committee presidents, key party leaders, public representatives, and party workers participated in the event, declaring their full support for the state government’s commitment to farmer welfare.
