Hyderabad (Gatla News): DCP Shilpa Valli responded to the events that unfolded at the Assembly on Monday. She stated that BRS leaders arrived wearing black T-shirts and shouting slogans. She explained that slogans directed against the government were written on their T-shirts, which is why they were not permitted to enter the Assembly. She clarified that there is nothing wrong with wearing black clothing or staging a protest; however, wearing T-shirts with slogans written on them was the issue. She mentioned that the leaders had offered to remove their T-shirts and enter wearing only undershirts, a proposal that was not accepted. She dismissed claims that the police behaved rudely toward the BRS leaders, asserting that no one was treated disrespectfully. She noted that significant efforts were made to manage the BRS leaders. The DCP also refuted allegations that the police had behaved disrespectfully toward women, calling such claims false.
