– Nizamabad Division President Saudu Manikyam requested the state government
Nizamabad,July 19 (Gatla News): Nizamabad Division President Saudu Manikyam has urged the state government to reduce the increasing workload on Village Administrative Officers (GPOs).In a statement released on Sunday, he said that GPOs play a key role in the verification and verification processes of various welfare schemes implemented by the government as well as in the Sada Bainam applications. He said that the workload has increased due to the assignment of more responsibilities to GPOs in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) program. He also said that GPOs have been involved in the DCHB survey as well as the census duties, which has led to a situation where they have to handle many responsibilities at the same time. He expressed his concern that due to the high work pressure, pressure from the higher authorities is also increasing, which is affecting the health of GPOs. He said that GPOs have to travel long distances every day due to posting in constituencies other than their own constituencies, which is causing additional financial burden and physical exertion.Saudu Manikyam demanded that the state government first reducej the heavy workload on GPOs and provide them with favorable working conditions in order to provide quality services to the people.
